Ki Hine Kohmer –As Clay in the Potters Hand!
As we approach the High Holidays, here is a piyut recorded live during services in dramatic cantorial style, a centuries-old art in which the cantor’s voice portrays the struggle and triumph of atonement. Once brought to the Broadway stage through Jewish contributions to musical theatre, this sacred form of drama now returns. Hear it on our new album, releasing September 16, and join our High Holiday Livestream.

We look forward to our community joining together to welcome 5786. As the prophet Isaiah taught, “For My House shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” (Isaiah 56:7)

Shake the lulav, spend time in the sukkah, and rejoice in the season with Park Avenue Synagogue.
Join our congregation as we celebrate the contributions of our members, Stephanie Levey and Steve Wasserman on Wednesday, October 15 at 9:45 am.
Each week, until they are all returned home, we dedicate the mitzvah of hadlakat nerot Shabbat, lighting Shabbat candles, to an individual held in captivity in Gaza. Visit our Israel at War Resource page for more material.
